The application deadlines for exchange and guest students who wish to apply for The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Copenhagen (PHARMA) are:
PHARMA does not accept applications that are submitted after these deadlines.
Important: If you wish to receive a room offer from the University of Copenhagen for the autumn semester you must apply 1-2 months before the above mentioned deadline. Read more about accommodation.
All exchange students at the University of Copenhagen must apply through the University of Copenhagen on-line application system even if you have already been preliminary accepted by the faculty or by a departmental staff member.
This is the procedure for application for exchange students:
Step 1:
Your home university is well in advance of the application deadline requested to nominate you on the University of Copenhagen on-line nomination system on http://universitypartners.ku.dk
Step 2:
Shortly after you have been nominated by your home university you will receive an invitation from the University of Copenhagen by e-mail with detailed information on how to apply for admission.
You will receive a personal pin code, which you need to access the on-line application.
Step 3:
Fill in the on-line application. Please note the following:
- In the application form you must choose which subjects you want to study at the University of Copenhagen. If you only plan to study at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences you should only select ”Pharmaceutical Sciences”. If you choose many different subjects, your application will be sent to many different international co-ordinators for evaluation, and it will take much longer before you receive an answer on your application.
- You must upload an electronic version of your official academic transcript in your on-line application.
- You also need to write a 300-word "Description of Studies” in the application.
- If you wish to take courses at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences you are requested to list the courses in the space “Description of Studies” in the application form. including a description of your academic prerequisites/qualifications for each course.
Please make sure that there is no overlap in the schedule when you apply for courses. You can find a link to the schedule in the course catalogue.
- If you wish to study as a project student at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PHARMA) you must include the following information in the space “Description of Studies” in the application form:
Step 4:
A while after you have submitted your application you will receive an official letter of admission or a letter of rejection from the International Office at the University of Copenhagen.
