The courses at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Copenhagen are taught in a block stucture with 4 blocks per academic year and 2 blocks per semester. The nominated workload for each block is 15 ECTS credit points.
The weeks of the blocks are divided into time schedule groups, designated with letters A, B and C. A course in time schedule group B will for instance have lectures on Monday morning, Tuesday afternoon and Friday morning as you can see in this table:
| Monday | Tuesday | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | |
| 8 – 12 | B | A | C | A | B |
| 13 – 17 | C | B | C | A | D |
In the online course descriptions you can see the schedule (block number and time table group) for each course.
You can avoid that your classes overlap by not applying for more than one course in the same time schedule group (for instance do not apply for two courses in block 1C).
