Aim and Background:
Patient compliance to medical treatment has been shown to be around 50% across different therapy areas and segments of the population with a variety of negative consequences for patients, payers and society. However, there is no clear consensus about terminology in the field or about effective intervention to improve patient compliance.
The objective of the present symposiu is to provide participants with a state of the art in the field of patient with regards to different theoretical concepts, frameworks and and terminologies and to give an introduction to recent research methodologies.
