Brief summary of Marilyn N Martinez :

Marilyn N. Martinez (MM) received her M.S degree in Zoology/Mammalian Physiology from the University of Maryland (1978). MM earned her PhD from the Department of Physiology and Biophysics, Georgetown University School of Medicine (1983). MM joined the review staff of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Division of Bioequivalence in 1985. In 1991 MM joined the Center for Veterinary Medicine, and today Dr. Martinez is the Agency´s expert in veterinary pharmacokinetics (PK) and responsible for overseeing the resolution of all PK and biopharmaceutical issues pertaining to the approval and regulation of animal products. She was promoted to the position of Senior Biomedical Research Scientist, a title equivalent to a Full Professor at academic institutions. Dr. Martinez is author/co-author on a significant number of articles and book chapters.
