Senior lecturer in Pharmacy Practice, University of Sydney

Dr Chen is external partner in the research project Medisam, a cooperation model for home medication review and congruence involving patients, general practitioners and pharmacists, and a guest lecturer at PHARMA for two weeks. Dr Chen's expertise lies within the development of professional roles for pharmacists in collaboration with other health care professionals. His doctoral research involved the first major Australian study evaluating the role of the pharmacist in conducting Home Medicines Review (HMR) and interprofessional collaboration with medical practitioners. This research and his subsequent studies in HMR have helped form a model for practice which has been taken up and funded by the Australian government.
