The research group in Drug Transporters in ADME is part of the focus area "Structure Based Drug Research".

The overall approach of the Drug Transporters in ADME group is to design and characterize peptidomimetics and prodrug as substrates for membrane transporters, in particular hPepT1/2, in order to investigate substrate structure affinity relations, their influence on tissue specific transport and regulation, as well as their ADME-properties.
