Other possibilities to apply for shared PhD studentships between PHARMA and pharmaceutical companies are:

1) Industrial PhDs (VTU) (see www.fi.dk)

• Novo Nordisk encourages PHARMA researchers to take contact to researchers at Novo Nordisk

2) Up to 1/3 PHARMA co-financed PhDs

• 2/3 of funding (1.782.000 DKK in 2010) must be available from company or other places
• application should be sent to the PHARMA Faculty Board (sp(at)farma.ku.dk)

3) More than 1/3 PHARMA co-financed PhDs

• at least 1/3 of funding (594.000 DKK in 2010) must be available from company or other places
• calls for proposals will be sent out by the PhD Administration to PHARMA researchers
• proposals will be evaluated by the PHARMA Academic Council
