IT access

IT network
When you start your studies at Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PHARMA) you get a personal student ID number and a password which gives you access to the IT network which includes internet and access to electronic resources at the The Danish Pharmaceutical Library.

You can use the Faculty’s network and access electronic resources from your PC at home. You need to install a VPN client for this (see below).

Wireless network, cable and VIP client
If you want to use your own laptop computer at the Faculty, you can gain access to the net via a cable and a network card. You will find internet connections in the library, roof terrace, canteen, ‘Alternativet’ room and classrooms.

There is wireless internet all over PHARMA. Use of the wireless network requires that your computer has a VPN client (log on programme) installed.

You can get the programme and instructions from the Student Council Office. Bente, the Council secretary, will lend you a copy of the programme against a deposit. The Council Office is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and closed Wednesday.

You can also download a VIP client from the homepage of the IT department at PHARMA.
