MSc programmes at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences

The School of Pharmaceutical Sciences offers two international Master of Science programmes. Both two-year full-time programmes are aimed at international and Danish students, who go for an education focusing on the pharmaceutical sector with great opportunities to work all over the world.

MSc in Medicinal Chemistry is focused on the part of the drug development process which deals with design and synthesis of new chemical compounds with the purpose of developing new and improved drugs – especially structure-based drug research and peptide modification. The master’s programme in Medicinal Chemistry is offered in cooperation with pharmaceutical companies in Medicon Valley.

MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences is a flexible programme, which enables students with a solid background in chemistry and biology to tailor a two-year master’s in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The programme is offered in three lines that are connected to the various phases of the drug development process: Drug Discovery, Drug Development and Medicines and Society.
