The management and administration of DRA and The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences(PHARMA) are highly integrated because of the many links and interactions between the two.
The board
DRA is managed by a 10-member board, of which four members are from the industry. The three departments at PHARMA are represented in the board and the PhD students by an observer. The chairman of DRA is the dean of the Faculty, and the director of DRA is appointed by the board. The director of the PhD school is member of the board to ensure a close link between DRA and the Faculty. The board of DRA meets twice a year.
The executive committee
The executive committee consists of the chairman of the board, the director of DRA, the director of the PhD school and the DRA administrator.
The executive committee decides upon operating matters and reports to the board of DRA. The executive committee meets regularly once a month.
The day-to-day business
