Medicinal Chemistry Research is represented by the three research groups:
A common research theme is studies of ligands and their interaction with proteins, in particular receptors and proteins in the central nervous system. Medicinal Chemistry Research encompass a wide range of competences including synthetic organic chemistry, peptide and protein chemistry, and advanced molecular biology. The group carry out interdisciplinary research aiming at understanding both structure-activity relationships and function of receptors and transporters at a molecular level.
