Overall objectives

The overall objectives for the Drug Research Academy are:

• to create a platform for development of high level research in academia and industry
• to educate and train highly qualified pharmaceutical PhDs and post docs in an interdisciplinary and international environment with an industrial perspective
• to train highly qualified pharmaceutical scientists in core disciplines related to the drug discovery and development process
• to make the Drug Research Academy an internationally highly recognised research training programme within the area of pharmaceutical sciences
• to promote the formation of strong national and international networks via symposia and visiting guest scientists
• to continuously develop state-of-the-art graduate courses within the pharmaceutical sciences
• to increase interest among junior pharmaceutical scientists in conducting research within academia and industry.
