PhD Committee
The PhD Committee consists of three academic staff members and three PhD students.
The work of the committee, with the assistance of the PhD Administration, is carried out according to the guidelines in the commissorium approved by the Dean. Amongst other tasks, the PhD Committee evaluates and approves PhD plans for PhD students at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, recommends external PhD students for enrolment (i.e. the PhD students not employed by the Faculty) and draws up the regulations and guidelines for the conferment of the PhD degree at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The PhD Committee usually meets once a month (although not in July). The meetings are open, but personal matters are discussed behind closed doors.
The Head of the Study Administration is an observer at PhD Committee meetings.
