Elite Researcher Prize 2012

Hans Bräuner-Osborne received the Elite Researcher Prize of 1.2 million DKK from the Danish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher Education. The prize is given to an outstanding Danish researcher for an excellent contribution to Danish science. The prize was presented by His Royal Highness Prince Joachim.

Researcher of the Year 2011

Anders A. Jensen received the annual "Researcher of the Year 2011" prize of 20,000 DKK from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The prize was given based on his high level research within molecular pharmacology and medicinal chemistry.

Young Elite Researcher 2011

Vikram Kjøller Bhatia has received the prestigenous Young Elite Researcher prize of approximately 1 million DKK from The Danish Council for Independent Research. The prize will give a great boost to his post doc project entitled "Molecular and cellular pharmacology of the GPRC6A G protein-coupled receptor".

Teacher of the Year 2010

Daniel Sejer Pedersen received the "Teacher of the Year 2010" prize from the students at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The prize is given for his excellent achievements in academic dissemination.



EliteForsk Travel Prize 2009

Trine Kvist received the "EliteForsk" travel prize of 250.000 DKK from the Ministry of Science Technology and Innovation. The prize will be used to travels to our collaborator professor Stephen F. Traynelis at Emory University, USA in order to study NMDA receptors by sophisticated electrophysiological methods.

Poster Prize at Danish Pharmacological Society meeting 2009

Bolette Christiansen received a poster prize for the second consecutive year at the Annual Meeting for the Danish Pharmacological Society for a poster entitled "High throughput screening of a small compound library at the human GABA transporters".

Poster Prize at 18th Neuropharmacology conference 2008

Kasper Bø Hansen received 1st Prize at the IUPHAR Young Investigator Poster Awards competition at the 18th Neuropharmacology Conference in Washington, DC, USA.

 

L'Oréal For Women in Natual Sciences grant 2008

Petrine Wellendorph has been awarded the prestigious For Women in Natual Sciences grant of 100,000 DKK for her research on the effects of gamma-hydroxy butyric acid (GHB, Fantasy). The grant is sponsored by L'Oréal, UNESCO and The Royal Danish Academy of Science and Letters.

The Lundbeck Foundation Prize for Young Investigators 2006

Hans Bräuner-Osborne received The Lundbeck Foundation Prize for Young Investigators 2006 of 250,000 DKK for his work on neurotransmitter receptors and transporters.

 

The Torkil Holm Research Prize 2006

Hans Bräuner-Osborne received The Torkil Holm Foundation Research Prize 2006 of 100,000 DKK for his achievements in research on receptors and transporters.

 

The Benzon Foundation 50th Anniversary Honorary Prize 2002

Hans Bräuner-Osborne received The Benzon Foundation 50th Anniversary Honorary Prize of 100.000 DKK in acknowledgement of his pioneering research.

 

Danish Academy of Natural Sciences Ph.D. Award 2001

Anders A. Jensen received The Danish Academy of Natural Sciences Ph.D. Award 2001 for his Ph.D. thesis entitled Molecular pharmacology of metabotropic glutamate receptors performed under the supervision of Drs. Hans Bräuner-Osborne and Povl Krogsgaard-Larsen.

The EU Archimedes Prize 2001

Petrine Wellendorph received the Archimedes Prize for 2001 of 44.000 €, the European Union's science prize for undergraduate students. The prize was awarded in the category "New medicines from natural resources" for Petrine Wellendorph's graduation project on synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of wasp toxins analogues. The project was performed under supervision of Professor J. W. Jaroszewski, Associate professor H. Franzyk and Professor H. Bräuner-Osborne.

Danish Academy of Natural Sciences Ph.D. Award 1997

Hans Bräuner-Osborne received The Danish Academy of Natural Sciences Ph.D. Award 1997 for his Ph.D. thesis entitled Molecular Pharmacology of Muscarinic Acetylcholine Receptors performed under the supervision of Drs. Erik Falch and Povl Krogsgaard-Larsen.
