Prospective guest students

You may apply to enrol as an international guest student at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Copenhagen (PHARMA) if you are not part of an exchange programme or are not enrolled in a university in Denmark.

A guest student can not earn a degree from the University of Copenhagen.

Tuition fee

  • Non-EU/EEA/Swiss citizens are required by law to pay full tuition fee as guest students. The price is 1800 Danish Kroner for 1 ECTS point.
  • EU/EEA/Swiss citizens are required by law to pay part tuition fee as guest students. The price is 300 Danish Kroner for 1 ECTS point.

The tuition fee must be paid no later than 30 days after the date of the letter of admission.

Accommodation and facilities

If you are a non-Danish resident and an international guest student at PHARMA you are provided with one room offer from PHARMA provided that you take a minimum of 22,5 ECTS credit points per semester.

As a fee-paying international guest student you are allowed to use all student facilities at PHARMA, for instance library, sports, social activities and Danish student mentor network for international students.

Courses and projects

As an international guest student you may apply for advanced MSc courses in English or a research project (“Individualised Study Unit). Please consult the course catalogue for courses in English and research projects. You must have passed a three year BSc degree or equivalent in order to be taken into consideration.

Please note that:

  • After application the academic course leaders/supervisors will evaluate your academic qualifications and will decide if you will be admitted to the course or project.
  • Courses can be cancelled if not enough students sign up for the course.
  • Courses can be overbooked (too many students sign up) preventing you from taking the course
  • The course and project descriptions are continuously being updated, thus minor changes can occur.

Application

The application deadlines are 1st of May for admission to the upcoming Autumn semester and 1st of October for admission to the upcoming Spring semester.
