Single BSc and MSc courses (tompladsordningen)

Guest students from Danish universities
If you are enrolled in a university in Denmark or in another faculty at the University of Copenhagen you may apply to enrol in MSc courses at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (PHARMA) as a guest student. Your studies at PHARMA must count as an integral part of your studies in your Danish home university.

Please find further information for guest students from Danish universities.

Single course students
EU residents who are not enrolled in educational programmes may apply to enrol in MSc courses at PHARMA as single course students (“tompladsordningen”) provided that there are vacant places on the courses.

Single course students are required to pay part of the expenses for education and administration. The tuition fee for EU citizens is DKK 300 pr. ECTS credit point for the academic year 2009/2010.

The Danish Immigration Service does not issue visas for single course studies. Non EU citizens can only enrol in single courses if they have a residence permit for Denmark for other reasons. EU citizens may enrol in single courses since they do not need a visa.

If you are not an EU citizen and you wish to enrol in a single course we need to see a copy of your residence permit before we can enrol you. The tuition fee for non EU citizens is DKK 1800 pr. ECTS credit point for the academic year 2009/2010.

PHARMA offers a number of advanced MSc courses that are taught in English. The majority of courses in English are offered during autumn semesters.

Please see our course catalogues for courses in English and Danish.

Please note that:

  • After application the academic course leaders will evaluate your academic qualifications and will decide if you will be admitted to the course.
  • Courses can be cancelled if not enough students sign up for the course.
  • Courses can be overbooked (too many students sign up) preventing you from taking the course.
  • The course descriptions are continuously being updated, thus minor changes can occur.
  • Studies are conducted together with BSc and MSc students from PHARMA and classes are held in the daytime.
