Student ID card

All exchange and guest students at the University of Copenhagen vill receive a student ID-card. The student ID-card is used to enter the university buildings and IT rooms outside of office hours and to use the University libraries. You will also get discounts in some museums and bars if you show your student ID-card.

Important: you MUST bring your student ID-card to all exams.

In order to receive a student ID-card, you must sign and return the form that you receive along with your letter of admission from the University of Copenhagen. Please return the form and a passport size photo to the address specified on the form within seven days of receipt. You can then pick up your student ID-card at the Central International Office at the University of Copenhagen upon your arrival at the following address (i.e. NOT at the international office at PHARMA):

Your student ID-card must be activated by the IT-department at PHARMA before you can use it as an access card for the buildings at PHARMA.

Students on “individual study units” or MSc thesis must contact the departments to which they are connected re. the activation of the student ID-card. 

Students on courses must contact Trine Nielsen at the International Office at PHARMA re. the activation of the student ID-card.
