Who can be affiliated to DRA?

DRA encourages the PhD students that meet the requirements specified below to be affiliated with DRA:

• research training at PHARMA and at least 3 months' stay at a pharmaceutical company or stay abroad
• supervisor from both PHARMA and external partner
• participation in a mandatory 6 ECTS points DRA course 'Medicines: Design, Development, Delivery and Use (MeD3U)', with teachers from both industry and academia
• participation in DRA summer meetings, symposia, and lectures

Applications for affiliation within DRA will be evaluated by the DRA board.

Students affiliated to DRA before June 2010 should meet the requirements specified below:

• at least 3 months of the PhD study conducted at a pharmaceutical company
• supervisor from both PHARMA/other academic institution and pharmaceutical company
• at least two PhD courses from the list of specific PhD courses for DRA students
• PhD students without a candidate degree within pharmaceutical sciences: PhD course on Discovery and Development of Medicines
• participation in DRA summer meetings, symposia, and lectures
