Bibliographic Software: Use the Reference Manager with Hands-on

Course objectives


To enable the participants to handle references on the computer via the Reference Manager and to import bibliographic information from on-line databases. The course will emphasise preparation of literature lists for articles.

General contents and topics


The course will provide an introduction to the building of a reference catalogue, to manual and electronic creation of different reference collections, to the searching and editing of references and the printing of literature lists in the formats required by scientific journals. Different downloaded formats of databases will be shown.

General information


The teaching methods will be lectures and "hands on". The number of hours is 3.5.
